Roach Retirement Plan
These little bait stations are like mousers for roaches: discreet, deadly, and shockingly efficient. I set out a couple in the usual hotspots and stopped hearing the little scuttle concerts within a day. Not glamorous, but it gets the job done — quietly and without a spray cloud of doom. Pros: Works quickly — noticeable drop in activity within 24–48 hours. Easy to place and kid/pet-safe when used as directed. Long-lasting — no constant reapplication needed. Cons: Not Instant Karma — takes a day or two to see full results. Needs placement in the right spots; won’t work if roaches avoid the station entirely. Bottom line: Practical, low-fuss roach control that actually reduces sightings fast. Five stars.

THESE WORK!
NB: I live in a freestanding house, so roaches can't come in from neighbors. If you share walls with others, things will be more difficult. I had zero roaches for the first 12 years I lived here, and then one day I saw a standard (1" long) roach in my kitchen sink. And then another was sitting in the dish washer, just hanging out, having a good time. And I was like, "Crap, something came in on a grocery pick-up." At first I tried spraying Raid in all the crevices around the kitchen, and putting down Raid bait traps. Then I added Ortho foaming spray. I saw a couple more adult roaches, and often juveniles would be wandering around on my counter. This kept going for two months, so I decided to switch to the Combat baits. I knew the bugs hadn't yet taken over the whole house (nothing in the bathrooms or basement), and if I could eradicate them, I would be in good shape. Well. The Combat baits went directly on the counter (where I saw roaches), under the dishwasher, under the sink, and under the fridge. Within two weeks I didn't see any roaches of any age. It's been 3 months now, and still nothing. I think it may have eradicated the nest? The company claims they last a year and I still have some bait traps (I bought the 18-pack), so at the 6-month mark I'll slide the rest under the appliances and take the others off the counter. Obviously if you live in a place where you have attached walls with neighbors, you need to maintain vigilance. But if you put these down at the first sign of bugs, they really do work and can control (or possibly eradicate) the problem. Raid and Ortho just weren't cutting it, but these Combat disks did it.

Magical miracle in 2 weeks
I never write reviews, but this product really deserves one. When we moved into this apartment, I noticed some small roaches around, so I tried Maxforce gel, which had worked for me in the past. However, this time the insects were really stubborn and were everywhere in the apartment. I battled them for over a year, and my husband didn’t help much — he would leave food on the floor and on the countertop, and wouldn’t wash the dishes. I was so stressed that I once found an empty egg case in the dishwasher (which my husband never used), and I got really mad at him. Since I travel a lot on weekends, I barely had a chance to keep up with the cleaning, so the roaches were basically having a big party here. I was very concerned about my baby, so I used to take him with me when traveling. By June, I was so fed up that after being away for two weeks, I came back to a situation that was barely tolerable. The roaches were everywhere — not just at night, but during the day too! I used a Raid fogger and searched for different ways to fight the infestation. Honestly, I had read so many good reviews about this product that I figured I had nothing to lose. The price is incredibly cheap compared to professional pest control (which I don’t trust at all — especially after living with an aunt who had rats. I ended up taking control myself because their solutions were useless). Anyway, I left again and came back with the baby. After the third day, I started to worry because I found roaches in places they normally don’t show up. I was concerned that this product wasn’t working, but there was a noticeable difference — the roaches were slower than usual. Then I traveled again, and when I returned after two weeks, I saw that the mature roaches were gone, except for a few little ones that I assume had just hatched (and I expect them to be gone soon!) It’s been a month now, and I’d say that in the past week I’ve only seen two small ones — and nothing else. (Before, I used to see them constantly during the day.) I’d say this is a great solution. No need to smear paste on the walls or in the corners (which looks anything but discreet). I finally have peace of mind and can bring my baby home without feeling overwhelmed about hygiene.

Plan your placement correctly and it may work for you
At first it looked like it was working but the roaches got so drunk they couldn't walk home so I would move them to where they lived. Ah over the span of i believe 3 weeks. The rush of roaches did die down but it's going to be a while before they all die. Especially seeing little roaches. Making it inconsistent to determine if its working or not. So far only 2 small ones. This product might be better for smaller infestations. (Horders lived here before we moved in) Not recommended for larger unless your okay with a REALLY long game plan. It might take longer with larger colonies. But when they do eat it they take 2 hours to really pass. Enough time to go home unless they over ate about 30 minutes. I hope this helps! I'm impressed so far seen less roaches. Maybe one more box of this stuff and it will pay off. The decrease is about 70% which is better than what it was.

These do work! But exterminators are a must just to be safe
I was seeing the little guys at night in my bathroom and I saw one under my kitchen sink. So I placed them everywhere I could think in February 2026 and it’s now April and I really haven’t seen one in weeks, it seems to have worked, I just had an exterminator come to inspect today and we found a dead one under the sink and he really didn’t see anymore. I thought I was seeing big ones still for weeks but it turns out I have crickets! I had no idea what a crickets looked liked an thought the traps were not working. But I only saw what i believe to be one full grown roach 🪳 and I eliminated asap. I really do think these traps work great but of course just to be safe I’ll be investing in an exterminator as well just in case so it does not become an issue going forward!

These only work for a few weeks or a month or two and then they come back.
I bought this box a little over a year ago and it worked great. I live in a nice but 40 year old apartment and I had no roaches the first 10 months. Then they started showing up in the kitchen. So I read all these reviews and the combat max seemed to be the favorite so I bought them. Box said would last 1 year. The roaches were gone in 1 week and I was so happy. They stayed away for about 5 months. Then reappeared just like they had come. So bought the box again and they took their time leaving, So now am on my 5th treatment and they go away and come back in a few weeks. I keep everything in zip lock bags and am very careful to keep everything WASHED and PUT AWAY. I lived in my own home for 35 years b4 selling it and moving here. I NEVER had these small roaches when I lived there. We live in Houston so we get these giant black flying wood roaches which fly inside our houses when you open the doors sometimes and they are scary but they are not looking for food. I am at my wits end. I follow the directions each time I set them out but now they onlly die the first week or two and then it is just like it was before.

THESE WORK GREAT!
I’ve been using these combat roach bait stations for a couple decades now. I replace them about every six months. They work fantastic. The adult roaches take the bait back to their nest and feed it to their youngsters. I rarely see roaches anymore. And the couple of times that I have they, were baby roaches. Which means they hatched and there was nobody there to feed them so they wandered out. That’s how you know it’s time to change the bait stations.

Product good, Amazon packaging sucks
The item is fine, but Amazon delivery taped its shipping label on the original box, covering the instructions. I suspect this is a cost-saving act from Amazon, where the packaging cost is saved. I’m supportive of saving the earth, but covering essential instructions info is not acceptable

100 percent effective
Before using this, we used to see like 3 to 5 roaches every day. I started using this nearly 6 months ago. I honestly noticed that I almost see no roaches after 2 months if use. I put some pieces outside around the house and some inside and replace the baits every 2 months. Now I am just applying once in every 4 months. This is 100 percent effective.

Finally a solution that actually clears out the nest!
I’ve tried sprays before, but they only kill the ones you see. I placed these Combat Small Roach Baits around my kitchen cabinets and behind the fridge. The Results: Effective: Within 3-4 days, I started seeing dead roaches on the floor, which means the bait is working back at the nest. Long-Lasting: I love that these are rated for 12 months. It’s "set it and forget it" protection. Safe Design: The bait is enclosed, so I don't have to worry about messy sprays or my pets getting into it. Verdict: If you have small roaches in your kitchen or bathroom, don't waste time with sprays. These baits are clean, easy to hide, and they actually solve the problem. Great value for a year of peace!

Excellent roach killer.
Used it. Worked a treat - but read on..... Done time ago I Started finding roaches around the kitchen. I cleaned extra carefully and tried the lemon and vinegar suggested to keep them away....no joy. Got pest control in. They sprayed and it seemed to work. A week later I found a couple of roaches had moved from kitchen area and were roaming elsewhere. Called in pest control for second treatment. Sprayed more places. Worked for 5/6 weeks but then they were back. Used this product and started finding dead roaches. Called pest control to complain -"they're sometimes in the walls where we can't get at them." I kept finding dead roaches but never live ones. Then they stopped showing up dead or alive. I stupidly threw the bait traps away after a month and a half of no roaches. A month later I find one and kill it. Couple of days later another and that too. Nothing for a bit. But today did a big messy cook up and that attracted 3 that I killed by squashing them. After cooking and a thorough paranoid clean with bleach too I ate and went for a shower. Returned to do the dishes and found another 3 by the dirty dishes in the sink. I'm reordering. And keeping the traps out for the full 12 months.

It works
Had an infestation in the kitchen. Whenever I walked into the kitchen at night and turned the light on, there at least half a dozen cockroaches would scatter, both tiny ones about 3mm and bigger 2 cm ones. Tried different gels with no impact whatsoever, other than eventually getting moldy and creating a mess. This product is much more expensive but it works. After 2 days roaches were gone. It's been 2 months now and the kitchen is still roach free, with an occasional straggler coming from neighboring appartments and quickly disappearing.
