150 Pcs. Chicken plucker fingers

They worked perfectly for my feather plucker. I’ll include a pic because these chicken pluckers are put together wrong by the Chinese. The 2nd photo is to show the type of plucker we have. Haven’t used the plucker yet because it’s sub zero temps and you need to use water. Hope this helps.

Easy to use. These are durable and constructed of quality material. Will purchase again when we need to replace these. These were well worth the money spent. I would recommend.

Easy to replace old and broken Plucking Fingers

These were replacements for the fingers in a Featherman plucker. They were very tight in the holes. In order to get them in I had to first remove the excess rubber left from the two part mold, put vegetable oil on the hole and the edge of the finger. use a visegrip to pull them through. These is the first time I have replaced the original finger some I am not sure if these should have been that difficult. I though the excess rubber along the mold seam was either sloppy work or poor quality control. I would probably try a different bran the next time, but they did work

At first I thought that these fingers were far to stiff but they have worked just fine. We are new to plucking chickens and turkeys so our results may improve over time. The water temp and the amount of time that the bird is immersed is important. We had the water at 150 to 155 degrees. We did break the skin on some of chickens but really didn’t care since most of it was cut up and vac sealed. None of the skin tore on the turkeys and this is where my diy plucker really worked really well. Two of us held the turkey to pluck it and it where done in a flash. We had minimal hand plucking. Its not perfect but it beats hand plucking by a million miles There is no way in heck we could have gotten through 4 turkeys and 30 chickens in one day. I built our pluckers out of 4” pvc which has a thicker wall than the finger is intended for. The groove in the finger isn’t as wide as the pvc is thick so I widened the groove on my table saw. Yes of course is dangerous so you need to come up with your own method if you go with thick wall pvc

They fit the plucker. I haven’t tried them but with a little water to lubricate they aren’t difficult to install.

Excellent option to replace Yardbird plucker fingers. Covered all the taller fingers with this order, immediately acted like it was new. Electrical clippers and vegetable oil helped with removal and installation.

100% affective. 82 seconds! Wider grip space on the finger space than some, and works great!

A little tight getting them installed in a featherman game bird plucker but they did fit and worked well.

I took my time to search and order plucker fingers long enough for chicken. These are just perfect ! I made a homemade chicken plucker and these rubber fingers work like a charm.
