My long, thick hair fits ok because the fabric is stretchy and there is sufficient room in the back, but it was so snug to my scalp that it was difficult to tuck in the shorter strands at the front around my face. I also have trouble figuring out how the buckle on the elastic band needs to be manipulated and secured so that it won’t slip. I have more expensive satin sleep cap which is a bonnet style - similar to a bouffant shower cap - and much easier to put on because it stretches large enough to capture and tuck in every hair around my forehead and face, and the adjusting buckle is easy to use and secure, even while wearing it. If I had never tried a different satin sleep cap, I may have been happy with this purchase, but because of all of the advantages of the bouffant style, I’ll stick with the bouffant style - even though it costs twice as much and you only get one cap in the package - and when I need to smooth/flatten hair around my forehead under it, I’ll use a stretchy headband under the bouffant cap.
