I was trying to make a button for a christmas show and my old sensor was about 10 ft short of where I wanted it in my driveway I first got the aeotec repeater and plugged it in outside my house, only about 25 feet from my hub, this did not help at all. I figured this sensor has to be better and may work better with the repeater.. Nope.. I think it has less range then my old one. The repeater also seems to do nothing, I unplugged it and smartthings still repots connected... all a waste.
