Rick Riordan must have felt like there was a need to tell more about the Greek Gods since all of his stories have something to do with myths. I enjoyed this book a lot because it gave me more background information about the gods that I already knew. My favorite part of the book is when the author retells the story of Kronos and how he ruled the World. While he rules, he swallows all his kids. Because Kronos’ children also are god, we know they need to reappear. Eventually, Kronos vomits his children up,after too much to drink. The children of Kronos seem unharmed by the incident. While I was reading this book I have learned that I really like books that are about myths from ancient cultures especially the Greek and Roman myths. Sometimes, when I start reading the RIGHT book I immediately fall into it and cannot stop reading it.
