This is excellent for making salad or salsa, it is so easy to use and very easy to clean. The container seems small but because it's so easy to use it can be filled multiple times for the amount you need. Excellent product and great value, highly recommended.

Not impressed with the size for the price, the video which shows you how it works has a much larger item so why not show the proper size per product. Nowhere on the advert was the word mini used but the box it arrived in has this in large letters. It does work but you couldn't use it to chop vegetables for a soup as you would be there all day. Ok for garlic. The Apple in the photo is a small garden gang.

Geniale Lösung, vor allem zum Zwiebelschneiden. Keine Tränen mehr. Man spart ganz viel Schnippelzeit. Der Zwiebelschneider wirkt sehr stabil und funktioniert richtig toll. Ich finde auch die Größe klasse. Ich hatte außerdem Schmerzen beim Schnippeln wegen meiner Arthrose, das Problem ist jetzt auch hiermit gelöst. Preisleistung TOP

It was good in the beginning, but the blades were rusted and became useless in a couple months.

First off, I like the red color which is my favorite color. The container is sturdy and it seems fine. I've only used this manual shredder a few times so far. Occasionally, I forget I have it and start chopping by hand before remembering I could’ve used the shredder instead. That said, I’ve used it on yellow onions, and cilantrao (yes making salsa and daily cooking), and it works great—just like chopping with a knife, but without the tears. The shredded pieces come out nicely sized. The longer you shred, the finer the result, so you have good control over how small you want the pieces to be. The blades right now are still sharp, and I haven't noticed any issues with them so far. Another feature I really like is that it’s manual. That means I can take it dry camping and still chop up small items as needed—no need to worry about finding an outlet. I know I need to test chopping more ingredients to see how well it does. I'll update again once I have tested it more.

I've been looking for the ideal chopper for years--but haven't been able to find one that can chop really fine without making a mush out of it. Electric choppers are just too fast and powerful. This gadget has given exactly the right result with every single thing I've thrown into it (and it was so amusing that I ended up chopping everything I could come to think of...) and it manages to chop cabbage very finely (something that is usually massacred in electric choppers) for Baozi, without crushing it into a cabbage purée. The manual operation gives much better control for stopping at exactly the right moment. I HATE chopping by hand--even if I'm relatively effective--so I seldom have the patience to cook dishes that demand large quantities of finely chopped vegetables. Now I feel motivated again. Only downside is the small size of the container, though that's probably one of the things that allow for precise control of the process. I love this thing!
