Wanted to start making videos and my headset mic wasn’t cutting it. This mic seemed like a good cross between functionality and affordability so I gave it a try. It sounds so much better, but like every mic you’re going to want a cover or pop filter for it. Kind of irritating it doesn’t come with one but minor nitpick. Set up is easy, just take out of the box and hook up to the PC via USB. Had no problem with the pc recognizing it. One weird thing is that it unmutes itself when the computer goes to sleep. I’m not sure why. Haven’t been able to figure that out so I just unplug it when I’m done. Minor thing and could be some weird settings on my computer but still annoying. The mic has a red light when it’s on though so it’s easy to see when it’s active. The quality of sound is really good, it picks up sound so well I had to put a filter on to keep out the AC noise. It’s not that hyper clear super close up warm sound you get with high end mics, but this is perfectly fine quality for most hobbyists, amateurs, or even if you’re just looking for something better than your gaming headset mic. Overall I’d say well worth the price. It’s exactly what I needed.

I’ve used this mic for a few years now. Great quality, I love scaring my friends on calls with the built in mute button. Very helpful feature overall. I still use the cable it came with. Great product, worth it.

Very good microphone. I've been using it for about a year or so, & it hasn't had ANY issues — definitely a microphone for longevity. The stability & material quality of the stand are quite nice; it's very stable, even on an electric standing desk. All you have to do to use it is plug in the cord, thus making the setup & dismantle fast & easy, especially for travel, which I do. The microphone doesn't take up more space than your phone on your desk; in fact, maybe less. The rotation & change of the angles that you can do make it very versatile for different setups & whatnot. The software is very good as well, definitely of quality.

We have been impressed with this. We got a pop cover for it. It works very well, with clear recording results. Does a great job of minimizing surrounding sound.

great quality for the price, and very sturdy. the cord is just a usb to usb-c, so thankfully that's easy to replace if needed. the touch to mute is so much more convenient than i expected, i don't have to switch tabs and mute in my programs when i can just touch the button. plus it helps me guarantee i'm not heard on voice chat games when i don't wanna be (roblox used to bug and unmute me when i'd select mute, so i get paranoid lol). only issue is that, if you just use the stand it comes with, it picks up on every single time you touch your desk. whether you're typing, setting something down, or just put your hand there, you'll hear a bassy thud. the person who recommended this to me did buy a separate stand for it, and that resolved the issue for him!

Brilliant affordable mic. Been using this for over a year, possibly 2 now and it's stayed true to it's purpose. Works as intended out of the box and clarity of the audio is Brilliant. Use this for work and gaming sessions and never have any complaints.

Ik ontving helaas een gebruikt exemplaar, maar hij was compleet en functioneert goed. Ik moest hem alleen wel schoonmaken, want hij was een beetje vies. Prima microfoon met erg mooi en warm geluid. Je moet hem wel heel dichtbij hebben voor het perfecte geluid, denk aan max 15cm afstand. Als je hem verder weg houdt, wordt het geluid beduidend zachter en ga je (vanwege gain) steeds meer achtergrondgeluiden horen. Als je de meegeleverde standaard gebruikt, staat hij dus eigenlijk altijd te ver weg om echt beter te zijn dan bijvoorbeeld de ingebouwde microfoon van je laptop. Werkt zonder drivers etc. gelijk op een Mac en is beschikbaar in al mijn apps zoals Teams, Slack, en QuickTime.

Ótima qualidade de áudio e super fácil de instalar. É só colocar o cabo USB-C e usar, cabo que está ficando cada vez mais popular e melhor em termos de qualidade. Se você tiver um driver de redução de ruído como o RTX Voice e depois fazer um tratamento do áudio fica muito mais incrível e profissional. Um dos problemas que podem atrapalhar alguns é que este microfone é MUITO sensível, por isso com o RTX Voice fica melhor... O Solocast capta áudio com extrema facilmente a uma distância considerável. Se o seu ambiente não tiver aquelas paredes com espumas para redução de ruído seu áudio ainda vai ter uma qualidade um pouco inferior. Além disso, se você bater um dedo levemente na mesa o microfone pega muito bem, por causa do pedestal estar encostando na mesa... Minha recomendação, pode comprar sim, VALE A PENA, mas também guarde um dinheiro a mais pra comprar um braço articulado com elásticos para reduzir os impactos e vibrações que chegam ao microfone. E se tiver o RTX Voice, o áudio fica mais sensacional ainda!

Ire a cosas que mucha gente no sabe... el micrófono aun siendo el mas barato de HyperX, el Solocast es muy sensible, escucha de lejos, es muy cómodo su pie permitiendo ponerlo delante fácilmente incluso lateralmente, el botón táctil permite silenciarlo de serie quedando una luz parpadeante roja PERO, muy importante para muchos, si instalas la app oficial de HyperX llamada NGENUITY permitirá actualizar el firmware lo cual hará que cuando lo silencies no haya led, y así si es mucho mas cómodo la verdad para el día a día. Luego el problema será por desgracia que al ser muy sensible puede escucharse gente en otras plantas de la casa, la calle y sobre todo, teclado y raton... para evitarlo instalar aplicaciones como RTX Voice (requiere Nvidia aunque sea gama baja) y con ello, magia, ni ventiladores, ni teclado, etc. para otras marcas habrá otras alternativas. Teniendo un cable usb type c fácilmente sustituible pero largo, 0 necesidad de configuración como otros básicos, y versátil con su soporte la verdad, me parece estupendo pudiendo obtenerlo incluso desde 35-40€. Si con el tiempo o tienes además un brazo con araña (esos que dejan el micrófono entre gomas) y algún antipop... creo que por un precio contenido puede tener un dispositivo bastante interesante sin necesidad de duplicar el precio. Además es robusto, resistente y permite ponerle soportes de rosca si tuviéramos. La verdad que después de probarlo, considero que prácticamente cualquier micrófono USB debería tener este mínimo de funcionalidades. En mi caso, puesto debajo de la pantalla con el soporte de serie en modo horizontal al poder girarse, actualizado su firm y puesto el programa para quitar ruido mediante IA y aun con las minimas pruebas, me parece estupendo.
