It's an easy game to get the hang of but quite a challenge to score well. You lay cards in front of you to grow complete strawberry plants; roots, flowers & fruit, to score points. You also score for water features & the longest path through your little strawberry garden. The deck divides into 3; sunrise (your plants are rooting), noon (you grow flowers) and sunset (you have fruit!). The backs of the cards are also lovely, the design indicating whether the cards are sunrise, noon or sunset. For 2 players (we have only played as a couple) you only use half the deck - so we can play 2 games back to back using the 2 halves of the deck. Overall this wee game feels wholesome & good. Thought & care went into the design; the detail in the artwork is a joy, the game is quick & engaging. I'm a botanist & we grow strawberries on our allotment. The game suits me very well indeed.
