I’m using this in the shower to brush my hair with my co-wash in. **Q: Can it detangle 4c hair ?** A: This brush has four independent movable parts. Depending on how dense the hair is, it might take you several passes to untangle a section. **Q: How is the handle?. I have thick curly hair 3b/3a. The last brush handle was plastic it hurt my hand** A: I have moderately thick hair, curly hair which can get very frizzy. I can’t get a regular vent brush through my hair without leaving a lot of hair in the brush. I find the handle if this brush comfortable in my hand. The part if the brush that goes through the hair IS flexible and leaves very little hair in the brush. I would say this is a unbrush dupe. It has really long bristles that get really deep into the hair and untangles it pretty smoothly. I will be buying more. Very satisfied with my purchase. As a mom of kids with 4a hair that experiences shrinkage this is a game changer. Wet the hair and detangle from the ends and this brush gludes through their hair with ease and cuts down on hair styling time. No more crying when getting hair combed 😂 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tough but gentle *by J***M on April 8, 2025* I cannot praise this hairbrush enough! I got an UnBrush for Christmas in 2023 but it broke within three months because of the amount of force I had to use to get it through my hair. BUT THIS BRUSH? We’re at almost a year since I bought it and it’s still going strong. The handle is comfortable enough to hold, and since the part the bristles are on is flexible, I don’t have to worry about it breaking. Strangely enough, I don’t even have to use as much force with it. It glides through with just a bit of pressure. I do have to go over the same area multiple times since my hair is so thick, but layer by layer, it just magically sorts everything out. Additionally, I would say that if you have depressive episodes that include not brushing your hair for a week or even WEEKS, this gets through it when you decide that enough is enough. I think it works really well. It dries quickly because of the ventilation. It doesn’t grow any mold or any issues like that because of the holes. I would say that it works really well for what it is. The bristles are soft and flexible and I don’t lose much hair brushing my hair with it.
