Works Exactly as Described. Honestly, I didn't even know there was such a thing as a grapefruit spoon until I stumbled upon them on Amazon! But now that I have them, I can confidently say these are an absolute revelation. They work perfectly and exactly as described. The serrated edges glide effortlessly around the grapefruit segments, separating the fruit from the membrane with incredible ease. No more messy, frustrating attempts with a regular spoon, or leaving half the fruit behind! For anyone who, like me, prioritizes eating half a grapefruit a day, these spoons are a great little tool that makes the process so much more enjoyable and efficient. If you eat grapefruit regularly, do yourself a favor and get these – you won't regret it! It's the perfect size and is very light. It's not too sharp but perfect to cut into the great fruit and scoop it out. I haven't noticed any added taste.

These spoons work so much better than a regular teaspoon for cutting into a grapefruit. They have also held up well to daily use and daily dishwasher cycles.

Slightly thicker metal than some offirings which makes the serrations not quite as effective at digging out the meat of the grapefruit. That said, they work well enough. These spoons haWorth the purchaseve a bit larger handle which is easier to grip with my arthritic hands. I would definately buy again.

Easy to use, and work as I expected them to. However, they're not comfortable to hold. Where I hold it, I find myself constantly trying to reposition the spoon to stop it from digging into my finger. The edges need to be softened/rounded, but its also a very inexpensive spoon. Can't have too high of expectations I guess. Just not something I thought I needed to consider when shopping for a grapefruit spoon. They're not too thin or cheap feeling. They go through the dishwasher without issue, and go through a grapefruit perfectly fine. They'll work just fine for an occasional grapefruit at breakfast.
