Review: Works great for shimano brakes - It is very similar to the one I had to cut off to shorten my brake cable. It doesn’t leak or anything. Works as it is supposed to. I’ve ordered several of these. That should tell you something.

A: It works with Shimano brakes. I am not sure compatibility with other brakes.
