The Gillette ProGlide Shield Razor Refills (8 Blade Pack) are, without a doubt, the best razor cartridges on the market, and this 8-pack offers fantastic value for money. I've been shaving for decades, and nothing delivers a consistently smooth, irritation-free experience like the ProGlide Shield. The star of the show is the Shield feature. The lubrication strips positioned both before and after the blades create an incredible barrier. This means the razor glides effortlessly over the skin, even against the grain or over sensitive areas, completely eliminating the redness and razor burn I used to experience with lesser blades. The blades themselves are unbelievably sharp and durable. Each cartridge lasts me far longer than competing brands, maintaining that initial smooth glide for weeks. The precision trimmer on the back is also a lifesaver for tackling tricky spots like sideburns and under the nose.

I really like these razor blades. Their shaving performance is excellent. To be honest, I don't think there is a huge, groundbreaking difference between these and the standard, non-shield ProGlide blades, but the extra lubrication strip is definitely a nice added bonus. Overall, they give a great shave, and I am very happy with my purchase.

These are great razor blades that give you a great shave without causing razor burns or bumps while creating a close smooth shave. These are my go to when it comes to shaving and shave quality. The only issue is that these razor blades wear out about every two weeks. Still worth the price, but I wish each blade lasted a little bit longer.

My facial hair grows back quickly and years I used the Gillette Fusion ProGlide, which was a great razor but it gave me a lot of razor bumps/burns even when I used aftershave to prevent them. Since I made the switch to the ProGlide Shield, my bumps have decreased significantly and it’s the best razor I’ve ever used. The lubrication strips make a huge difference. If you have sensitive skin and need to shave often, this is the razor for you.

Before I retired, I only the ProGlide Shield Blades. I shaved every work day. I have a tough beard. These blades would cut through my beard with ease and they are so wonderfully Smooth & comfortable. At the time, these were Gillettes most expensive blades...$5 per blade...and worth every penny. I would usually get 7-10 shaves per blade. Not the greatest but for sure dthe BEST. Next time you need blades...Treat yourself to ProGlide Shield Razor Blades you'll see & fell the difference.

I purchased a pack of 13 blades for $46.98 at a big box store in 2024. Since then I have not been able to find these blades in retail stores. I’m afraid they are simply out of my price range now but they were the best and I’m going to have a hard time replacing them.
