Many children can roar and love to roar along with the dinosaur and the children who can't will often at least smile and laugh. The children can identify the items in the book and then can answer questions about what the dinosaur will do with the item either through language or actions (eating, jumping, etc.). You can ask for predictions--"Dinosaur vs. bedtime: who will win?" Then you can "write" about the book.
