Building it was a lot of fun, though it is worth mentioning you will want to make sure you have a sharp knife or exacto knife on hand - one of the issues I ran into is I didn't cut some of the toothpicks flush on some of the parts, causing my rubber band gun to seize up once. Once I realized that was the problem, I was able to clear it out and now the action is much smoother! I ended up liking the build and gun that I ended up picking up two of them, and the second one went much smoother! I would definitely recommend it - I think both kits took me about 1-2 hours each. Easy to put together, and they come with everything included except for a knife (and maybe a set of needle-nose pliers to help break the tooth picks cleanly. I just scored the bottom of the toothpicks with the exacto knife and snapped them that way, sanding down the break-off point to make it look neater.) I also had to test support, as while troubleshooting the first gun I damaged one of the pieces that keeps the gun held close. However, Wood Tricks was quick to send a replacement part to resolve the issue, so so far I'd highly recommend these! The separate mags is also interesting and it's fun to fiddle with, but I had followed the manual closely and I have not gotten this to work. I took it apart and tried different approaches and even re-did what I saw on the manual and I just can't squeeze the trigger once mag is loaded.
