I bought these headphones for my daughter when she started school, and they lasted about two years with daily use. She wore them almost every school day, and they held up really well. When it was time for a new pair, I didn’t even look for another brand—I bought the same ones again for the new school year. They are comfortable, the sound quality is good for school, and my daughter enjoys using them. I would definitely recommend them and buy them again.

I work from home and needed some wired headphones for work meetings. These LORELEI X8 wired headphones were exactly what I was looking for. They're lightweight, comfortable, and provide great sound. They're not noise cancelling, but the cute color and great performance makes me happy.

These are the most comfortable headphones with the best sound quality I could find for the price. I bought headphones that were more expensive and they sounded much worse than these! It's a decently surrounding sound with nothing that grates on you like feedback, too deep base, static or overt "crispyness" and the sound is not "flat" either. I like the purple color. They're comfy, I can wear them for long periods fine without any ear pain. Additionally, the wire does not tangle or twist and is padded to prevent bending the internal wires and causing the sound to fail. (Usually, I got one pair of these once with a wire that constantly twisted) My only problem with them is that they can break. My longest lasting pair lasted almost a year. Most last maybe three or four months. And they'll break for different reasons but a consistent reason I've faced is that the parts where the headphones fold will snap off. At the end of the day, though, I don't mind buying them multiple times because they're the best I've found at this affordable price. If you need need budget headphones and aren't worried about them lasting forever, give these a chance. I never use the mic so I can't comment on that part.

When I was shopping for my daughter’s back-to-school supplies, headphones were one of the items I spent the most time researching. I needed something that met the school’s requirements (3.5 mm plug and built-in microphone) but could also handle being used and carried in a backpack every day. The first thing that stood out to me was the braided cable. It feels much sturdier than a standard smooth cable and doesn’t tangle easily. Since cables are usually the first part of school headphones to wear out, that detail immediately gave me more confidence in their durability. They’re also lightweight, and the ear cushions are soft enough for extended use during classes. The sound is clear for educational videos, music, and online lessons, and the microphone works well whenever she needs to participate in class. If you’re buying headphones for a student, I think these check the most important boxes: comfort, a built-in microphone, a reliable wired connection with no battery to charge, and a design that feels ready for everyday school use.

Sound quality is fine. It's comfortable enough to wear for a while. My main issue is that these headphones kept finding new ways to break for reasons unknown to me. My first issue was that the piece of metal connecting one of the earphones to the over-ear band bent horribly out of proportion one time when I tried folding it shut (as it's designed to do.) This would not have bothered me too much if it hadn't made wearing the headphones normally completely impossible, so I took the liberty of unscrewing that side of the headset, diagnosing the issue, and using pliers to fold it back into shape. With the amount of force it took to get it to fold back it is completely beyond me how the headset managed to bend out of proportion that much with regular use. Having taken it apart to repair a major issue, I can tell you right now that you get exactly what you pay for. The headset is very cheaply made and is a complete pain in the butt to repair - which makes sense, they probably don't exactly want you to repair a cheap product, just get whatever use out of that you can while it barely holds itself together. Next issue - a few days later, on the opposite side of the headset, I can't remember what exactly happened, but I had to put a thick layer of duct tape around it to solve whatever it was. If my memory serves me correctly, some plastic panel fell out and left the headphone wire exposed. This may have very well been my fault and a result of not being able to get everything to line up when I reconstructed the headphones, so I'll own that much. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I was wearing it, and as I took it off, part of the plastic on the band straight up cracked in half. You can't make this stuff up. In the process of rolling some tape onto it in an attempt to make it usable, the metal portion from my first issue bent out of proportion again. I'd had enough, so I threw these out. Even with repairs, the shelf life of these headphones was about 2 months - I received the headphones in late August and it broke on me beyond usability in late October. Several other reviews seem to express the same sentiment, but what's concerning to me is that there are so many ways that these headphones can break. Sound quality was unaffected throughout the lifespan of my set, but wearability kept getting worse. TL;DR: You get what you pay for. If you're looking for a cheap pair of headphones that you'll only need for 2 months, these are perfect for you. If you want something that'll last you a bit longer than that, look elsewhere.

Bought these for my kids to use with their PS5, and they are really happy with them. The sound quality is good, the microphone works well, and they are comfortable to wear for longer gaming sessions. They also feel lightweight and durable, making them ideal for younger gamers. Excellent value for money and a great purchase overall.
