**Q: Does it fit mandolins well?**
A: Although the tuners are close together on my Gretsch mandolin, this will work on it quite well when it comes to winding the strings. As it turns there is enough c!earance between the adjacent tuning keys.

**Q: How wide is the tuning peg opening, I,m thinking of using it for double bass tuning pegs?**
A: I'm not sure: I can't visualize the tuning pegs on a double bass. The Grip is wonderful and very flexible, so it might fit. If you're unsure, contact Nomad. They could tell you.

**Q: Is there anything to cut the strings?**
A: This is just a winder. I use a good pair of wire dikes. There is no string cutters built in. Great winder by the way.

**Q: Does it come in any other colors? Hate Blue!**
A: Have only seen it in blue

Avvolgicorde ottimo, il prezzo è elevato in confronto a prodotti con lo stesso utilizzo ma è giustificato dal fatto che è montato su cuscinetti, quindi il movimento è molto più fluido, il rivestimento della parte delle chiavette è in gomma morbida per evitare di graffiare o rovinare le chiavette ed inoltre è dotato sulla base del manico di un'inserto esagonale che serve per stringere il dado di fissaggio delle chiavette sulla paletta (io l'ho usato su prs e la misura è perfetta, su altri marchi dovrei verificare)

The best string winder I've ever owned, by far! It's everything they say it is. It makes the cheaper, hard plastic winders look like junk. I wish I would have purchased this a long time ago...better late than never!! With the 2 bearings, it turns extremely smooth. The handle is very comfortable on my hand. The soft plastic/rubber that goes over the key tuners, protects from scratching them. It's very fast & smooth...& I prefer this over powered winders any day. I changed my strings a few days ago...& it worked great! I accidentally dropped it (my fault), onto the hard floor & it didn't harm it at all. Very impressed! I'm using this on my pedal steel guitar. Great company! I plan to purchase there string cutter next. I definitely recommend this item...& this company.
