After adding slick 50 the engine stopped using oil(1 qt per 3k miles) and fuel milage went up 2-3 mpg. Kept the truck for 230k miles. Never used oil, had any engine issues, or decrease in mpg. Would run in any of my cars no problem. **Q: I have over 130,000 miles on my jeep.... should i use this one or the recharge one? And how much should i put in** A: This slick 50 will work just fine on your jeep works on all vehicles. No need to buy the recharge I use these ones only best stuff. So these are in 1 qt containers use all of the 1 qt container and to remember not to over fill vehicle. What the vehicle call out for engine oil fill amount 6 or 7 quarts then instead of fill it with all engine oil of 6 or 7 or however much it takes subtract the quart of engine oil since the engine treatment went in. Prove for yourself what I say! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by R***F on June 9, 2026* Good product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very good additive! *by L***A on April 10, 2025* I first used Slick 50 in the late 80s when it debuted and things change, right, but the description says "Original Formula" so I'm hoping that's not just sales hype One thing I noticed immediately is that the 80s formula's instruction was to drive at least 50 miles after adding this to fresh oil (to allow it to circulate through and adhere to the lifters etc) and it was a "once and done" additive... but the instruction on THIS modern "original formula" didn't say anything about driving ANY distance.. AND it's recommended to add once a year.. so I'm wondering if the manufacturer realized a "once and done" formula is bad for sales? which would logically mean it's not actually the original formula, wouldn't it?
