I removed old boards from around an overhead door frame on a shed, with about 30 feet of boards to be removed. The boards I was removing were all installed about 45 years ago, using 5- and 6-inch ring shank nails, driven into a treated 4x4 of the same age. Those nails were IN THERE and hard to pull out. This bar laid waste to the whole job, held up perfectly, and did what it's supposed to. I was hammering this in between a 2x10 and a 4x4 with a 3 pound hammer, driving in both the curved end and the straight end. Then, not being a small guy, I used all my strength, body weight and leverage that I could, and this bar took it all without batting an eye. It pried the 8- and 12-foot long 2x10s away from the 4x4s and came back for more. After all that, the sharpened ends are still sharp, and there was no hint of bending or breaking at any point in the operation. The finish on the curved end, which took all the pounding, is worse for the wear, but that's to be expected, and it makes the bar not still look brand new after three years of owning it.
