Such a great toy for kids. It challenges them mentally, as well as physically when it comes to manipulating the shapes. Great gift idea!

Great tool for learning and teaching

This Mental Blox 360 Degree 3-D Building Game includes a set of 15 brightly colored plastic blocks that included 40 "challenge" cards that offer a top/bottom/side perspective and invite you to recreate the build from that viewpoint. My five year old is a very logical, advanced learner and we are constantly trying to think of ways to engage him and keep him learning outside of school. This was a great product for him! He was able to get through the Easy and Medium cards on his own the first few days of hours of playing. The Difficult cards proved to be a bit more of a challenge, and took a little more manipulation of the blocks and stacking to complete. It reminded me of a portion of a standardized test I remember taking during my youth and my husband agreed. We enjoyed figuring out the puzzles as well and that they encouraged our son to think out of the box, and not only use mental insight but tactical as well. The surprise upon receipt was how much this engaged my two year old. The colors and shapes drew her in! While she didn't have any interest in completing the puzzles, she was very interested in arranging and stacking these blocks on her own. They are hallow and plastic, so they are pretty loud clattering on the table, which kind of bothered my sound-sensitive son when his excited sister knocked the blocks over. We own many other Learning Resources products ( other current favorites include Learning Resources Sum Swamp Game and Learning Resources Super Sorting Pie !) and all four of my children really enjoy them. This was another wonderful product from an educational brand we've grown to love!

My son loves to build and not only does this allow him to use his imagination but it also brings cards to challenge children.

We gave this to our son for his 6th birthday and he loves it. The puzzles are interesting and challenging.
