This is a great push broom and a great value too. I like that it has soft outer bristles that sweep up fine dirt particles, while sturdy inner bristles sweep away larger debris like rocks and leaves. The 24 inch size is also perfect for our backyard. Do yourself a favor and buy this over its small sibling. You will cut your sweeping time in half! The handle has yet to come loose - so the Maxi-Lok technology has definitely lived up to its reputation. Just be weary that you can not use any handle on the broom head. If you are into protecting the environment, you will like the fact that this broom is eco-friendly with broom block and bristles made of 80% recycled material. Conclusion: Received promptly, item is high quality and bristles are not too stiff. The broom is better than what I expected. I definitely recommend it. *If at any time my opinion on this product changes, I will update my review to reflect that.

My husband wanted a broom to clean gravel off the concrete part of the drive way. This does a very good job at moving small to mid size gravel off of a pretty worn out slab of concrete. But it is just soft enough to sweep out the garage and do a nice job. Owning one broom that works for stiff ans soft jobs is great. And finding one a husband will pick up and use is even greater. O-Cedar broom is way better than the other main brands broom. I am a fan of the other brand for many things but in the case of brooms O-Cedar is the best. I was in maintenance and cleaning for many years and know a good broom when I use it.

The broom itself has worked really well. While the handle does not unscrew itself, I do have to retighten the lock knob at the bottom every use. Not a huge deal, but not completely set it and forget it. I use it in the garage (smooth concrete), driveway (rough large pebbled concrete), and sidewalk (normal sidewalk concrete). It works best on the smooth surface, obviously. Ot works well on the sidewalk sweeping grass. The driveway, being fairly rough, gives it a little trouble. I have to really take my time with short, quick pushes. My old straw broom swept better on that surface per sweep but overall ended with the same result in the same time. The other surfaces, this brook well outperformed my straw broom

Solid, fine quality push broom that cleans our garage floor nicely. This seems to be the perfect width and the handle length is fine for me (6' male). Instructions and care are thoroughly described and this does not feel like a toy. The weight is hefty, but I like that because it puts pressure on the floor and the broom does not "float" on the concrete when sweeping. Hard to comment on how this broom can be improved.

This s a very study,easy to use and store broom. I purchased it because I have all hardwood floor and large surface areas to cover. While ti looks like a "barn broom" it is perfect for use of a broom for large floor space that has tile/hardwood or laminate. It is very solid but the bristles aren't as course as a barn broom so you don't need to worry about it scratching your floors. Highly recommended.. It has cut my sweeping time in half.

O-Cedar Multi-Surface Maxi-Lok push broom: The two different types of bristles really do take care of a variety of surfaces and sizes/types of debris being swept. Instead of the broom head screwing on as it does with most push brooms, there is a tighten down/ screw-on PVC collar that attaches the head to the handle. The collar does work loose with use of the broom, allowing the head to come off (not just turn/swivel) but the problem is easily solved by drilling a wood screw through the collar and into the threaded neck of the head. Overall, I like the broom and would buy it again.

This is a replacement for a push broom that got broken in the middle. We got it to clean the debris from the yard, and it works wonderfully well. It can be a push broom or a pull broom, depending how and where you use it. So handy for cleanup! I hope this one lasts as long as I do. My husband does most of the yard work, and he was so pleased to see that I had gotten him a new push broom.

Unlike any other broom

Extremely poorly made. The head of the broom is made a brittle material. Mine arrived broken and in 3 pieces.
