I've had a table before and got these because I need to invert but don't have room for a table and also I want to train a bit with these too. Like leg pull-ups etc. Can't do that on a table. Also the free hang vs the table. The boots are much more affective. If you have pain or weak knees and ankles you may want the calf bar support. I'm 6 foot 165lbs Fit and healthy Thicker legs and ankles than a normal person my size and these xl boots are great. I had the regular boots before my table and they had the calf bar.
