Its a simple, brilliant device - does a great job of sucking the sand out of my hot tub. The only way it can work is if the hose is lower than the pool surface and even then the suction was not strong. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was quite surprised *by S***N on October 24, 2020* These are expensive so my initial thought when it got to me was, "what a piece of crud for what I paid". I was very pleasantly surprised when I used it for the first time. It was unlike anything I've used before that had to be charged up. I am only using it for small bits of dirt and debris in my hot tub, but it works perfect for that. Once you get the hang of how to use it, it's very easy and effective. I would buy another one simply on the fact I don't have to keep it on a charger and I don't have to plug it in anywhere. It's lightweight, but made out of sturdy materials It would be good for a small pool, but the suction opening is not real big so it's perfect for my spa. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked good *by M***D on January 3, 2020* This tube is thin but it did the job. I have a six person spa and it took about 30 mins to drain. Very simple concept to use. ### ⭐ Needs better product description *by T***Y on September 12, 2013* First, I am sure this is a fine product. It is just that the description is so poor. I was looking for a product to vacuum an in-ground fountain. This is a simple tube that works purely on GRAVITY. No suction action at all. The pool, spa, fountain etc. that you are vacuuming MUST be above the level of the discharge portion of the tube for this to work. Again, an elegant, simple and seemingly effective product but poor description. I don't think it would be hard to have a better description and pictures of the actual product so that consumers can decide if it is right for them.
