I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Pros: Great Value for Money: These clamps offer excellent value. Given their affordable price, I was initially concerned about their quality and size. Normal Size: Despite my worries about potentially receiving very small clamps, they turned out to be a normal, usable size. This was a pleasant surprise. Sturdy Construction: The clamps seem to be very sturdy and well-built, which is crucial for holding workpieces securely. Usability: They are easy to use and provide a strong, reliable hold. The gasket would not compress evenly and this allowed air to get into the freezer, and in worst cases, thaw much of the food in the freezer before the leaky door was discovered. After this happened several times over the past couple or so years I concluded that either the door problem had to be fixed or we should buy a new freezer. I chose the Powertec 20306 Latch-action Toggle Clamp because I have worked with similar clamps in my design work as a mechanical engineer. I was particularly interested in the adjustability feature of the clamp mechanism which makes it easy to fit up the clamp, then compensate for any wear in the clamp as well as in the gaskets on the refrigerator door. The long reach of the clamp was also critical to me as the clamp had to reach from the main body of the freezer and across the thick gasket between the body and door, then engage with the catch portion fastened to the door. I had planned out the installation beforehand and it was simple to drill the six holes to attach the clamp parts using sheet metal screws. Total assembly time took approximately an hour,once I had all the parts and fasteners on hand. The clamp works exactly as desired and does an excellent job of maintaining a tight seal on the freezer door. Both my wife and I are delighted with the results --- no more soft ice cream or partially thawed foods because of the leaky gasket on the freezer door!

I own a really nice Cuteck Jointer/Planer, but with a smaller, garage-size woodworking shop, it's stored neatly against a wall and considerable work to move quickly into a work area. That said, I've become open to all kinds of ideas that better utilize tools that I have easier access to, like my table saw. I've listened to several DIY presentations regarding using my table saw as a jointer, utilizing a special jig which is simple to build. All of the recommended jig designs require the use of several hold-down clamps, which are relatively easily installed, and economically priced. I chose these Powertec Clamps, as they came highly recommended by a number of the DIY Builders. As you'll see in the attached picture, I created a jig which will accommodate a 4' + piece of wood stock, utilizing four of these clamps. These are quality clamps, and adjustable to fit your needs, and I highly recommend them for your shop. CAUTION: A word of caution.... Make sure you order the clamps you need! I mistakenly ordered Horizontal Clamps first, and then had to reorder the Vertical Clamp version. Both are great, but decide first what kind of hold-down pressure you need! Best of luck!!! We bought this for our smoker and it is very durable and has strong clamping force. It functions easy and is very versatile for anything that you just need to keep shut! The size of the clamp is great for our fridge smoker!

These r great. Perfect to hold items in place as u/I use to make cabinet doors with a pocket jig. Only wish they came with a rubber cup on screw end. This helps in leaving no marks on u'r doors

We have an upright freezer that doesn't get shut all the way and we have lost o bunch of food because of this problem. I installed this latch on the side and it does a great job fo keeping the door shut. The red handle work as a great reminder it latch the door.It was easy to install and adjust. I would recommend.

This is a very solid, strong draw in latch with a great range of adjustability. I would prefer the handle go "over center" a bit more, and used a hand grinder to have it do just that that. The price and performance really hard to beat. Totally happy.
