## Description

SONAX CutMax is designed to achieve the highest cutting and polishing results without severely damaging the vehicle clear coat. Sanded areas up to P1500 can quickly and safely be removed with excellent finishing gloss effect. SONAX CutMax is water-based which offers a long working window and will not dry out like other compounds. It is also dust free for easy clean up after use. Simply wipe off the polished area with a microfiber towel. Solvent-free and silicone-free makes it safe for use in body shops and collision centers. Recommended use with: Sonax Microfiber Cloths, Hybrid Wool Pad or Red Cutting Pad.

Review: Sonax Perfect Finish is one of the best and most versatile polishes on the market today - Very good quality polish and good value for the money. Even a novice can get good results with Sonax products including Perfect Finish. Just couple this to a good quality polishing pad or finishing pad and use with either a Dual Action polisher or Rotary Polisher. Make sure you buy 3 or 4 pads or you'll have to clean your pads frequently. If you have 3 or 4 pads, you can switch out the pad after every few panels which will keep your polishing consistency about the same around the entire vehicle. If not, you may lose polishing ability as the pad gets loaded up with dead paint or polishing residue. If you only have one pad, plan on washing out that pad after every few panels. Then "spin dry" it on your polisher set to the highest setting to spin out any remaining water and get it as dry as possible before you start polishing again. This is perfectly acceptable, it just takes more time than having a few extra pads and just changing them out after a few panels of polishing. This polish is easy to use and gives you a really good "glossy" final finish after wipe down. It's also pretty easy to wipe off the panel and as long as you don't use excessive amounts of polish. **Q: Can this be used to remove imperfections in glass**
A: It’s not going to scratches out unless they’re very small and buff for a long time. Taking scratches off of glass is not easy. To remove a scratch you have to remove all of the surrounding material so that it’s even with the deepest part of the scratch which is hard to do on glass. If you’re talking about water spots or something, sure, it’ll work great

**Q: Is there a significant difference between this stuff and sonax perfect finish? Im looking for a good quality 1 step.**
A: There is, and Perfect Finish is an ideal 1 step polish when your paint is in good shape.  Minimal cut with a high gloss finish.   Cutmax is more suited for paint correction with a deeper cut, and less gloss.  Cutmax followed by Perfect Finish is a good 2 step process to correct flaws in the paint.

**Q: Is Sonax cutmax 250ml enough for one small car?**
A: Yes you should be able to complete a small car. How much you use depends on the condition of the paint you are correcting. Also some areas you may want to go over twice.

**Q: Is this Cutmax good for stubborn hard clear coat?  If so, what kind of pad would you recommend?**
A: I have used on stubborn clear with a lake country orange pad and it turned out well. Follow up with black pad and Sonax perfect finish.

Very good quality polish and good value for the money. Even a novice can get good results with Sonax products including Perfect Finish. Just couple this to a good quality polishing pad or finishing pad and use with either a Dual Action polisher or Rotary Polisher. Make sure you buy 3 or 4 pads or you'll have to clean your pads frequently. If you have 3 or 4 pads, you can switch out the pad after every few panels which will keep your polishing consistency about the same around the entire vehicle. If not, you may lose polishing ability as the pad gets loaded up with dead paint or polishing residue. If you only have one pad, plan on washing out that pad after every few panels. Then "spin dry" it on your polisher set to the highest setting to spin out any remaining water and get it as dry as possible before you start polishing again. This is perfectly acceptable, it just takes more time than having a few extra pads and just changing them out after a few panels of polishing. This is a class product with excellent results. The cutting on this product is excellent but you need to cut at a slow speed. It has excellent scratch removal and polishes to a lovely looking finish. It's easy to use and with a decent buffer makes the work a breeze. It's a one time application with very pleasing results for a decent price. This product is the goto cutting product and once you have used it you can see why. I will definitely be using this product again.
