Dad needed an upgrade
This was a great replacement for my father’s old laptop that died of old age. It is extremely fast and more powerful than what he really needed. The price is right for students or elderly who need a working machine more than a gaming system. Graphics are crisp and the speakers are clear.

It seemed to just start up with no help from me!
So far, this seems like an ideal replacement for my old laptop that crashed. This new laptop came to life pretty much on its own. Lots of items from my old laptop just popped up. Easy to adjust to the new layout. I am still learning my way around.

absolutely cheaply made
2 years later it basically quit due to some short on one of the USB ports that I was using for a mouse. ' The mouse pad stopped working within 2-3 months of purchase , so I switched to using a regular wired mouse, for the last 2 years. Then I started having mouse connectivity issues about a week ago, which led to the screen going dark with some sort of glitching ( suspected some electrical short) caused by one or all three USB ports. then it kept restarting and going to the BIOS asking to troubleshoot and fix the issue. so far nothing worked. Bottom line it is a cheaply made laptop. Would not purchase again. Lost all data as I could not transfer my Data from the SSD , but that is another issue altogether having to do with the SSD being locked by some sort of bitlocker encryption (48 digits number apparently generated when activated the first time : a Microsoft annoying issue), I tried many tricks out there to get that information and still nothing works. so data lost. and this computer is going to the trash.

Do not buy the extended warranty.
If your computer goes out you get the runaround from Lenovo. You will talk to 5 people too be told you have a date a month away. But Noone tells you anything because you're directed to a call center in India.

Good Laptop
Bought this laptop for my first year of college and it’s been very useful so far, we will see how it holds up throughout the years and I will update as needed!

Budget laptop
I want to start off by saying this is a great laptop. The touchscreen is very responsive. It connects to all the wireless peripherals fast and easy. App open quick and painless. My only complaint is the screen. It seems to be lower than it’s advertised resolution. I’ve no way to prove that but I have another Monitor with the same specs and this doesn’t even compare to this. Not sure why they decided to make a stout laptop and add this junk screen to it. Don’t even bother using it a room that isn’t a full of natural light.
