Let me start off by saying that the purchase price for me. was phenomenal! I have a Hayward c4030 filter system and I got 4 filter cartridges in this set for the same cost for one 1 filter at my local pool store where I test my water and buy my chemicals. I was so surprised at the savings that I thought there may be a catch. Maybe the quality of the filters were not as good as the pool store versions. Well, from what I could tell they were identical. And let me say that once I installed them, they fit perfectly and after 3 weeks have performed wonderfully. The amount of water pushing through the pool jets is so much more powerful with the d ones that, too be fair were very dirty and ready to be replaced. I am so happy with the purchase and the "buy 1 get 3 free" cost over my pool store! PROS * Identical in size and build quality as my original set * Enables water to flow freely * I can use a lower speed on my pool pump * Saved $600 in cost from buying at pool store CONS This may be nitpicking but my original set had an arrow that showed which end is up when you place inside the filter. These don't have an arrow to let you know if there is a designated top or bottom. I looked inside the cartridge and did my best to compare the interiors to see if they were similar in design and set the new ones in with the interior plastic supports in the same direction as my old ones. Not really sure it makes a difference, but hey they are working like a charm.

Great price and product! Will buy again every year. I know you can clean them and will once throughout the year but at this price, I will replace every spring!

Exact fit for my Hayward cartridge filter. They seem to work great. Just opened the pool and replaced the OEM cartridges we have had for the last 2+ years. Had the new cartridges running now the last 2 weeks and cleared up the pool nicely. Only difference between these and the OEM cartridges was the OEM was marks with a directional requirement (I.e., this end up on the cartridge). These do not so I do not believe they have any type of direct flow requirement.

These filter are working great for my in ground pool. The quality was very good too.

For the price I was worried. But given my old filters were incredibly clogged and I was just trying to get the pool closed for winter, I have these a shot. They cleaned the pool right up. The water cleared within about 12 hours. The build quality is definitely lower. Also due to the increased pleats the space between is tighter and therefore it is harder to get them as clean as I’d like as pine needles and such tend to get stuck in them. That said, for the money, I was happy to sacrifice that set to get the pool clean enough for closing. I do plan to replace them again when we reopen the pool in the spring. These filters probably withstand a season of well balanced pool with weekly cleaning of the filters. However, I let my pool get away from me towards the end of the season this year. So they did their job and I’ll try another set for a season and see how it goes.

Came on time. The pressure gauge was initially 25 psi and once we changed filters the psi was at 12 psi. If was to replace Hayward cartridges for the c4030. They fit perfectly. We have no idea how old original filters were but we used them for 6 seasons in Ontario . We open our pool May -September. We now have a baseline to determine when to clean filters if required min season.
