The triangle hole was too small and upside down.
was not a direct fit. I had to disassemble the new and old units to make 1 unit that would fit. no place to mount the switch bracket, had to stuff them underneath the motor. It went from a 45 minute repair to 2.5 hours...

Great customer service! Would recommend them to anyone needing Carrier or other HVAC parts
After doing a lot of research on where to purchase the item I decided to purchase the product from Amazon since there didn't seem to be a reputable place to purchase the item and I decided I'd hopefully have some recourse if things didn't go well. When the item arrived the box was in tact but after I opened it there was clear internal damage to the item even though all of the packing was in tact. I prepared myself for a long battle figuring it might be a chore to get the item replaced. I called their number and talked to the first representative, he said that it was an expensive part and he'd have to verify with the manager on how he could proceed. I thought to myself here we go... To my surprise I received a call back within 10 min of my initial conversation and the manager's first words were, we're going to get this taken care of for you. I asked if I needed to supply any pictures and he said no, we want to make this as easy on you as possible. We'll get a new part out ASAP with a return label for the damaged part. Two days later, as promised a box arrived, I put the return label on the old box and handed it to the UPS drive and I was in business. Can't say enough as to how helpful and easy they made this. I will definitely do business with them again when/if I need to.

Replacement inducer motor installed
Just had the inducer motor installed yesterday. So far so good. The previous replacement motor lasted only 5 years.

Carrier part 340793-762
Received part and when installed the motor was almost as loud as the one I replaced. When I called the seller they said that because I installed it myself there was nothing they could do. There was no warranty. Now I am out over $900. For now I will have to run it like it is and hope it doesn't stop in the middle of winter. I am retired but was an appliance service technician for over forty years so should be able to replace a simple fan motor assembly. The amazon account is in my wife's name so review will most likely show that.
