Dorman 902-408 Engine Coolant Filler Neck | Fits Select Lexus / Toyota Models

This product was an absolute life saver, I broke mine while changing the batteries, I literally thought I will have save the whole radiator. After watching a few YouTube videos, which lead up to this.The fit was perfect, and no leaks so far. It’s a bit tricks the remove the part but the replacement worked like a charm.Just look if it fits your car, mine was Lexus RX350 2007. You literally save hundreds of dollars and Yes it can be done as DIY project just watch a few YouTube videos and be calm.Highly recommended

Fit perfectly, googled YouTube for video on how to remove/replace on a 2011 Toyota Sienna. Just like everyone else, broke one of the nipples during battery replacement. 2 items are mildly tedious, the first is you need a pick with a hook to reach around to the bottom to grip the bottom of the "plastic C clip and dona good tug, the clip can be stubborn, but pull and it will pop off. You get a new one so I didn't worry about breaking. If piopped off in one piece on me. The 2nd part of tedious is wiggling the old neck off. I used a screw driver to wedge against the radiator support and put firm pressure on the filler neck and the wiggled the filler neck clockwise then counterclockwise. It slowly worked off. The new one input spit ;shade tree mechanic all purpose lubricant" on the o ring and it popped right on. Put the new C clip on pushing the ends to the bottom just like the original ones was. Put your two hoses back on the nipples and your radiator cap. If you forget which hose goes where, overflow tank is connected to top. Enjoy.

This was easy to install on my son’s Lexus 2008 RX350 radiator. So far over a couple months there have been no leaks. The OEM was more expensive so I took a chance that this brand would work and I needed something quickly.

Part was almost identical to the factory part. I say identical because the part that held the o-ring in place was a removable ring where as the factory part was molded making a permanent grove.Part fit perfectly and installed quickly. I would definitely get a pick took to pull the c-clamp off as that made the job go very quickly (< 1 min to remove the old part). As long as the part doesn't fail we'll be good. If it fails I'll be back to update my review.

Perfect fit for my 2007 Sienna LE 3.5L.There was a review that indicated that it did not come with the "horseshoe" shaped ring shown, mine did. This ring is the "lock" that keeps the Filler Neck attached. The "horseshoe" ring slips/snaps on after installing the new Filler Neck. Make sure the "horseshoe" ring is put on so the tabs on the ring align with the tab receivers on the Filler Neck.In reading other reviews and the difficulty in trying to remove the old broken Filler Neck, I decided to SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY saw off the old Filler Neck with various size hacksaws as the receiving part of the filler neck on the radiator is plastic and could break if it was treated too roughly. Took 15 minutes or so to saw off including removing the old "horseshoe" ring first with screwdriver from the bottom after detaching the horseshoe ring securing attachment. Sawed where the ring use to be because there is space between the old Filler Neck and the radiator neck so gives room to saw the Filler Neck without damaging the radiator neck. Once the old filler neck is sawed on both sides it will come off with gently force outward (the "O" ring in the Filler Neck is all that is holding it in place). The remainder of the old Filler Neck still on the radiator cannot be turned as it is held in a straight position by a groove in the Filler Neck and a corresponding tab on the radiator neck, but it there is no need to turn it as pulling straight out on it causes it to come out easily. Total time to remove old and install new - 20 minutes.Local Toyota dealership wanted $400 for a whole new radiator as Toyota does not sell just the Radiator Filler Neck. Even trying to get the radiator OEM online was $293, AND you would have to remove the whole radiator !! Much better solution to just replace the Filler Neck. If dealership replaced the whole radiator I can easily see why other reviews got quotes of $750 to $900 to do it.

After reading all of the reviews about this part, I was worried about breaking my radiator when trying to remove the old part, but luckily the old part came off just fine and I was able to install the new one. I had to keep adding radiator fluid after letting the engine heat up and then cool again. This was a process that required patience and persistence. My car took around two gallons of fluid but it seems to be full now, no leaks, runs perfect. I called four different car shops and didn't tell them I knew what part I needed, just told each one that my hose kept popping off. All four of them insisted that my car needed a new radiator, and that the piece that connects to the hose was not something that can be replaced. When I told each one that I knew about radiator filler neck, they said they would order the part for double the price I paid here. This is why people hate mechanics.

Matched oem coolant neck. Easy to replace. Be gentle and take your time when trying to pry off old unit as it is prone to being stubborn when trying to remove. The only tools I used were 2 pairs of vice grips to remove and pinch hoses and 2 flathead screwdrivers (1 for prying the ring clip off and the other bigger one to pry the unit off.)No more leaks!
