My use case is unusual—I wanted a one-button IR learning remote. I have a boom box where one crucial feature can only be accessed on the remote. And I didn't want to have to wrestle with the unit's full-sized, 43-button remote, which would hog room on my crowded nightstand. This much smaller device can only learn one command (accessed through the Power on/off button) but as noted, that's all I needed.

Plug and Play install and it's pretty easy to get the hang of it, even double clicking. An air mouse used to cost a lot more than $10

It controls 9/10 functions of the tv, only issue is it it will turn it off but will not turn it on, but that’s ok we mainly wanted to be able the turn it off if we got tired of watching. Universal remotes wouldn’t connect at all so this is progress.

Mouse tracking is not very good, hard to get it to go where you want

Remote lost its IR Learning ability after just two weeks. Lost its remaining functionality the next day. It's unfortunate because the remote was exactly what I wanted (didn't need a keyboard). I've seen other people say that theirs also died within a couple of months.

My wife and I often stream videos to the TV through our computer and we wanted a way to hit pause/play without getting up (first world problems). This little remote solves that problem and more. We can now easily hit pause, fast forward, and change the volume. When we're done there's even a power button to put the computer to sleep. One of the coolest features is that you can actually move the mouse just by moving the remote around. Its a little tricky, but if you really don't want to move your lazy behind off the couch its definitely possible to choose the next file just using this remote.

Tested on both Linux and Windows systems. Off the bat, they are omitting a lot of information on their product page which drops a star. The power and volume keys (up, down, mute) as well as the play/pause key do absolutely nothing. No data is sent to the computer when these buttons are pressed. However, they can be programmed to send IR signals.... which is completely useless and adds no value whatsoever. It would have been trivial to set this thing up so that you could decide to use these buttons as IR or not (because who uses IR to control the volume on a computer?!) They also make it look like the receiver dongle can be stored in the battery compartment. This could have been very useful. However, to say there is a storage space for the dongle would be stretching it; it just floats around in the battery compartment loose. This is nothing like what is shown on the product page and so their marketing material is again deceptive. Another star removed. The battery compartment door is cheaply made and feels like it will break just trying to put it back on or remove it. It feels tacky - really cheep plastic and rubber which I think will degrade poorly over time. Another star removed. The gyro function is as advertised. It works well with small wrist movements and beats my handheld trackball hands down for navigating the screen. This I will give it props for. It does this one thing well. The rest of it though... Honestly, avoid this product. There are better solutions out there for an HTPC remote.
