Lost all my original caps in a move and had to replace them. They fit perfectly.

These were so much better than expected! Easy to use, sturdy, and much better than the original ones that came with the metal cubicles 12 years ago!

After searching for connectors to make use of some REALLY old metal, grid-type, cube shelves, these looked to be close to the originally provided black, plastic, ABS Connectors. I was glad to purchase a larger set of 24 for spares, because losing the connectors/ key pieces, over many uses in different settings, including college, is a possibility. The exact size, shape, and functionality of the round, black, shelf connectors is primary to creating the extra storage. Before ordering, the close up pictures provided by the manufacturer were key. The connectors I received were packaged well, and their appearance seemed 80% as close to the needed size, shape, and configuration of the originals they were purchased as substitutions for. I used about half of the connectors received, and all fit just close to ok. Due to the irregularities in thickness of the original metal shelves, this seemed to be a big challenge in each fitting. Mostly, lots of patience is key to the use of the connectors, as not all shelves inserted perfectly or easily. ( This can be frustrating if you're not determined to make them work!) Some shelves barely have an eigth of an inch insertion, but when manipulating three corners into one connector, and applied equal pressure, the connector just barely makes it....but it DOES work! Do not load your shelves with heavy items, but I would guess they could hold possibly up to ten pounds or less. { This is a complete guess, and a challenge someone else with more time, could test. } * Again, tell your college kids to be very patient with the installation of the shelves into connectors, and all should come together in the end. Since there are few connectors that would work as suitable substitutions, I'm glad we could find these to make our shelves usable, and would definitely buy them again. It's just what I needed. I had purchased a shelf a few weeks prior and in putting it together I realized I didn't need all the backs in, so I could use the extra backs as more cubes. Just needed some more connectors! Glad they sell them and it's always great to have extras on hand in case I want to reshape the cube organizer.

After a lot of hammering and cussing we got the shelves together. These connectors openings were too small and kept popping off. I will be keeping them because we finally got them to work after using a hammer to get them to stay. But I am seriously concerned that with use of the shelves they will start popping off. We will see. I am rating the durability at 4 because they withstood the hammering.

These are good! Be careful not to apply too much pressure or tap too hard, as they break very easily.
