It's great can lay iron down when done.

I was skeptical about how well these would hold up to the heat of a hot iron and prevent my ironing board cover from getting scorched. I am very pleasantly surprised! They work great and at a good price which is an added bonus.

Protects iron from falling over and scratches on the sole plate
They look as described. I haven't tested them out yet so I don't know about durability. However, I think this is a convenient product. I'm always afraid my iron will tip over when it's sitting in the upright position, while I'm repositioning the item I'm ironing. My board has an extension to lay the iron on but I fear that will scratch the sole plate so I prefer not to use it with my brand new iron.
