brown pants
this is second time I had to buy brown pants. the other got a hole in them.

petite medium pants
Sizing was not really petite medium. Hemming was necessary on all 4 pants ordered.

Wrong size
While I like this style pants I would also like them fit. I order two pair size 12 short. I am 5ft 1. The first pair was medium length which I can just wear but the second pair was marked medium and was actually long so I have to return them. The store didn't have them in blue so I'll have to return them to the store and settle for another color. I no longer trust buying them online.

Too big
I used the measurements given in the size chart and according to it I should have been able to wear a size 10 perfectly. When I tried them on, they were very baggy. Either the chart was wrong or they were mismarked. It was very disappointing to finally find pants that had a short enough inseam and not have them fit. The quality of the material was very nice. My advice is to find them in a store first to find out what size you really need. If you need the extra short inseam and can only find the long, you will at least know what size to order.

Nice
If you wear size 10 petite go up to a 12 they run small, and they run long for petite having to put 2 1/2 inch hem in them. But they are light weight and made very well.

Comfortable, stylish -- with pockets
I bought both a white and a beige pair. The weight of the fabric is just right. So even without a lining the white pants don't show underwear. In addition to the choice of colors and comfortable fit, the biggest plus for me was pockets. It's hard to find slacks with pockets that are big enough to hold coins or i.d.

PERFECT!!
These pants were ordered for my elderly mom (99 yrs. old), who is very short. We ALWAYS have a problem finding slacks that don't have to be shortened to fit properly. This is the first time I've found sizes in "Petite/Short" and they're PERFECT - She was ecstatic to receive pants that didn't require alteration & I was ecstatic not to have to alter.

Size not as listed. The pants are not 14P Short, just 14 Short.
I ordered these because I had ordered Alfred Dunner black pants in 14 petite short at an earlier time, and the fit was very good. I am not going to return these because it is difficult for me to get out to do that, so I will keep these, I was pleased at the speed of the shipping.
