**Q: Is this the "soft" Turron, or the "hard," crunchy Turron?**
A: Spanish Turron, such as Sanchis Mira is typically hard. Turron de Alicante is whole almonds in a very hard candy matrix. Jijona, like the ones in the accompanying picture, are not as hard. They are a honey and almond flour with crunchy bits of almonds.

**Q: does it has an expiration date? or a manufacturing date? how to know if they are fresh or form previous year?**
A: They are typically available only during the holidays but from time to time some merchants will resale old stock. The only way I know to make sure they are fresh is to buy from known quality suppliers.
