Review: Well made. Stays very COLD. - One of the few ice packs that actually stays cold and provides relief. Well made. Large size is great for lower back, thigh and neck areas. Place it between you and a firm pillow while in bed to keep in place for lower back or neck area. Very cold. But you get used to it. The ice cold therapy is very good for pain relief after an acute injury.

One of the few ice packs that actually stays cold and provides relief. Well made. Large size is great for lower back, thigh and neck areas. Place it between you and a firm pillow while in bed to keep in place for lower back or neck area. Very cold. But you get used to it. The ice cold therapy is very good for pain relief after an acute injury.

As part of cool therapy after ACL surgery I have used several different ice wraps and even Ossur system provided by my insurance. So far this black sack (Back Support Systems Cold Ice Pack Wrap (11" x 14") is my favorite. It is literally cold and comfortable, also stays cold for long enough time. and easy to use. if it is too cold for uncovered skin, just place the sack in a pillowcase.
