Hands free and a lot less tiring than the manual pump I was using before. Really great for expressing when baby is feeding on the other side! The only negative is that it’s really not that discreet. There’s no way (that I can see) that you could use this with no one knowing so it’s no different than any other breast pump in that respect but fabulous for catching the first milk that you would otherwise lose to your breast pads or bra when feeding baby on the other side. Ps the breast pads that come with this kit are so soft and gentle against the skin! Love them. Review: This haakaa has been amazing, I thought the hype was a bit ridiculous reading about it but once you learn how to use it, (having it on the other boob, while feeding baby) it's so easy to get a little emergency stash up. The best part is it saved me from horrific mastitis, I woke up with a fever and realised one boob was in incredible pain. Popped the haakaa on straight away and kept it as empty as I could through the days until my doctor's appointment and if I hadn't done that I think it would have been so much worse!
