More blouse weight. And your knickers would probably show 🤭 **Q: Would this be suitable for neck gaitors/snoods?** A: Basically No..... This is cotton fabric as used for bed sheets Ideal for face masks; fitted or pleated, but for snoods etc you would need a jersey type fabric that stretches . **Q: Would this fabric be ok for curtains making?** A: It is not the thickest of fabric so unless you are going to line the curtains they would be very light and not really black out the light. **Q: Would this be suitable to do dressmaking?** A: Yes, it’s very suitable in my opinion, for dressmaking. Hot wash fabric before cutting; it does shrink a bit; & colour bleeds a little. I made a blouse with gathered shoulder peplum sleeves, black calico fabric, better quality than I expected, gathers beautifully. Didn’t have the strange weave patterns that some plain calico has - it’s smooth & flat . Does fade a little, but excellent value for money.
