These helped me hang some posters on an angled wall in an upstairs (see image). They would also work great to keep wall hangings secure in an environment where things can easily be lifted off a wall (place of business, bar, restaurant, even a kids room, etc.). They are easy to use and will work both with the plastic anchors that they come with or will go directly into a stud. I highly recommend the following order for the beginning part of the instal/hanging (the directions that come with the kit are more than sufficient - the below order is just my extra suggestion after my experience): 1) Measure and find the wall studs to identify if you will need the plastic anchors. 2) Measure and mark the wall after holding up the frame to get a rough estimate where everything should be screwed into the frame. 3) Once you have identified if you will be going into a stud or using the plastic anchors, then screw in components that go into the frame. 4) Now that you have the frame components fastened, you can level your image and mark the wall by pressing the frame into the wall (the frame components have markers that will help you drill the wall in the correct place. 5) The rest is pretty straight forward, and the directions provided do a great job explaining how everything works. I would lastly mention to be mindful of the metal key that is used to lock the final screw and frame in place. The key is metal, so if you are reckless in your hanging, you can end up smudging your wall right below your frame.

Simple to install. Easy to utilize locking mechanism. Great product. Use caution in measuring and installation will be perfect.

Had used this product many years ago and this one worked very well also . Easy to install and prevents theft of framed pictures on my bar walls .

I have never installed these before, but they work as directed. I think they are designed for public spaces to prevent art from being stolen, but they also should work as earthquake proofing paintings.

Use these at work so pictures do not fall down

These do what they are supposed to, but are very difficult to install well, since they require perfect alignment of blind fasteners. Each mounting set consists of 14 parts (brackets+screws) plus the wrench. They should show how it is intended to be used, how to achieve alignment without torture or misadventure, and how a pro would do it. A simple video of how a T-screw works doesn't help at all with the larger mounting challenges.

Used in condo for hanging decorations worked very well

One of the better security hangers I've used. Takes a little work to put up, but one you learn the tricks is much easier. Take advantage of the small points on the brackets to mark the wall. Once up, can't knock them off or "remove" the pictures. Just don't lose the wrench.

Very expensive but good quality. One main complaint is that the small #8 screws provided have large heads that are taller than the mounting brackets once installed on the back of the frame. When you press the frame into the wall to get an impression to make the location, only the screw heads show up and the marking bumps on the bracket do not. I solved this by buying some #6 screws to replace the #8s provided. For the price I should not have to do this. Otherwise the product works well, but takes some time to get good at installing it.
