A Hornet with lights?
I did a a little research on-line and came to the conclusion that this yo-yo is very similar in size, shape, and function to the Duncan Hornet. Mine came in new condition and the lights functioned perfectly on both sides. The ball bearing axle provides longer sleep times than say a fixed steel axle like a Duncan Imperial. I think this is a pretty good choice for a looping/trick yo-yo. This is a nice ball bearing axle yo-yo with the added extra kick of a nice light show. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Great Classic Toy
My grandson literally lit up when he got this for Christmas (it has an LED lighting circuit with a centrifugal clutch that turns it on when the yo-yo is spinning.) Balance is good, the string is first rate cotton, and I find it easy to show my tricks to my grandson. A good, classical gift.

Lights up nicely
I like the colorful lights when using yo-yo. The sides are red but lights up around the “rim.” It is a basic yo-yo without out bearings, which I also like. Not into many tricks and like throwing it around and just going up and down. Balance and weight feel good in the hand. It was mailed by slow boat to Hawaii (maybe cause of batteries?) but overall worth the wait.

Good first yo-yo
This is a good first inexpensive yo-yo my son loves it it lights up and is very good quality. Could easily do walk the dog and other tricks

Best Christmas Gift
My son always asks for the little things during Christmas time. This year he asked for a yoyo that lights up and he was so excited to have it. I meant to order a beginner's one but the intermediate one works just fine for him.

A bit too long for 7 year old
Works great for a kid, but I feel the string is a bit long for him. Because of the long string, my son ended up making a knot and it wasn't as fun, then later he ended up breaking it - the string came out. He only had it for like a month and I need to buy new strings for him.
