They worked great for keeping water off my shoes and legs. They were relatively easy to get on and off. They have a "plastic" feel and quality to them is the reason for the 4 stars - they feel like they will rip, so time will tell as far as the durability. They pack super easy and don't take up a lot of space which is great for motorcycle travels. When worn for a longer period of time, I did find that my feet and legs would get hot and start to sweat.
