I got it solely to back up some of my blu-ray movie titles etc. To date, I have copied over a dozen blu-rays, with no issues whatsoever. I installed the burner with ease onto my Windows 10 laptop. Included in the pack are four small rubber pads that are placed on the underside of the burner drive, to eliminate any vibration. The drive is not in any way noisy.
