Soon, the top of the water became foamy with dirty coagulated oil beads, lots of it. I left it run a minute or so and pulled the basket up, I was astonished. The metal was shining bright like I never saw with just the simple green solution. I’ve done it this way since, and it’s been phenomenal. Any minor residue left wipes away. I always rinse thoroughly, dry thoroughly and oil everything generously. My guns have never been so clean. I’ve seen no resultant issues whatsoever with composite or metal parts degradation.
