Outset Double Wall Shot Glass Stainless Steel Measure Jigger

Seen it used in bars kind of cool. I’ve not got the hang of it quite just yet. But I poured myself a few good ones cool bar utensil obviously using it for Saint Pats😉

I love the heft and balance, the modern design, the subtle markings for measuring, and the feel and look of stainless steel. Oh, and it's easy to clean. I own several jiggers, and this own is my favorite. And it's basically spill free. It has a rounded rim that comes to a sharp edge for that perfect pour. I was also worried it may show fingerprints, but I does not. I think it's perfect, especially give how affordable it is.

Wanted to be able to make black & tans @ home vs going out and this lil gadget is perfect for that!

And, embarrassingly, I’ved owned/used a lot. Probably too many for someone who’s not a bartender. But yeah, super simple, no weird shapes; just an excellent ‘quick’ measure I just keep on the counter for pretty much everything. I marked them with Tbs/tsp and ml conversions. Even gets used for an occasional mix.

In some parts of the world they make a very nicely layered Irish Coffee: Simple Syrup on the bottom, a layer of whiskey, a coffee layer, and heavy cream on top. Impressive to see and tasty to drink. But Irish Coffee's not the stated purpose for this toy so I feel a little guilt giving it four stars. Adjust accordingly. Until now I've struggled just to make the common version of Irish Coffee in which whiskey, syrup and coffee are mixed together to make one layer, and the cream forms a second. Just making the cream float (whipped cream is cheating and doesn't taste the same) requires great care, so I had high hopes this gadget would make two layers trivial and four layers do-able. Alas, it didn't even work for the simple two-layer version. The cream really needs to flow onto the liquid from something like a spoon sitting bowl-up in the coffee, but with the tool sitting on the rim of the glass it dripped through the holes with enough force to mix. No applause from the audience, but we did enjoy drinking the failures. Might work fine for beers, of course.

Perfect works amazing and effortlessly makes the best black and tan !

At first glance these look great and seem to be good quality. I made sure to check their box and make sure they were dishwasher safe before washing them prior to use. They came out with little or no writing and even worse, the print was wiping off on my hand. I can’t tell you if there will be a problem if you hand wash them, but I don’t recommend them at all.

It arrived broken but was replaced in TWO days! It really is beautiful and practical. All measurements are on the glass. Very refreshing and appetizing in appearance.
