The piece is made with particle board in some places. Some of the screws destroyed the wood it was screwing into and just fell right out. However, the overall design of this cabinet is well made. The areas where the screws came out still had other dowels or long anchors to secure the pieces together. If everything worked like it should this cabinet would be indestructible, but it leaves room for the errors which is nice. I gave it 5 stars because we all have bought some cabinets that just fall apart and become useless when the hole gets stripped or the particle board breaks apart. This cabinet is better than those and looks elegant for a reasonable price.

Easy to assemble (did it alone in maybe an hour), true to description, fit my needs perfectly. Looks pretty nice, but you can tell it’s not super great quality. It may be a little too pricey for the level of quality, but I don’t regret buying it. I’m glad I read the reviews and lowered my expectations.

Good value. There were small imperfections on the top of the unit. Contacted supplier who sent out a replacement within days - great company that stands behind their product. Only negative is that the instructions were pictures only - not hard to assemble but would be easier with instructions.

Very sturdy. Heavy. Love the style. Very attractive addition to my kitchen. This piece added additional needed space for storage. Instructions for assembly are easy to follow. All pieces have identifying letters to easily identify each piece. Arrived when expected.

Was easy to put together. I use it by the back door to hold dog paraphernalia: leashes, balls, poop bags. And it keeps all our outdoor shoes from laying on the floor.

This is pretty cute and a great size for the space I needed it for. Assembly was a little difficult, since none of the pieces had letter labels like they did in the instructions and there were several that were very similar. Parts of the instructions were very faded/almost impossible to see, and the inside was missing holes for the pegs that hold up the middle shelf so I had to drill them myself. I also cannot get the doors to hang straight, and there were several nicks and scrapes on the sides and legs. But, once put together it seems sturdy enough and holds a lot.

The wood is a lot thinner than you expect on the detail pieces and if you’re not careful you could dent or chip the paint easily. The instructions were not labeled as best as they could have been compared to other furniture I’ve built. But the top is sturdy and strong enough for a heavy glass tank which is what is on mine. If you’re able to properly install the correct side of pieces (because of the labeling issues) you may be able to use the nice doors, or you might not have them on at all like what happened to me. The piece still looks good and has great storage without the doors too.

I put this against a wall in my kitchen to hold small appliances that we don't use often, and it really fits a LOT. I put my griddle, bundt pan, coffee cake pan, panini maker, toaster oven and some cake stands in there and there is still room! Plus our toaster, keurig and coffee maker on top. It really brightened and cleaned up my kitchen. The only thing I don't like are the visible screwholes in the front; we wound up caulking over those to make it look a bit nicer. Would definitely purchase again
