Very high quality! Perfect fit!
Following my cataract surgery, my ophthalmologist recommended that I get a pair of 2.50 reading glasses to accompany the bifocal glasses that he prescribed, since I do a lot of reading. I first bought a pair of reading glasses from Walmart. They were OK at first, but after a few weeks, there was some discomfort since the temple pieces were pressing against the sides of the head and left marks after removal. I went to an optical shop where the fit of the glasses was much better, but the glasses were quite expensive for my taste. So I checked around for a reasonably priced pair of larger frame glasses. The VWE glasses sold by Amazon was the best pair that I could find after my extensive research, so I purchased it, knowing that I could return the glasses to Amazon if the fit was uncomfortable. I was not disappointed! The glasses fit very comfortably, and the frame was wide enough so that there was no more pressing against my temples. I noted that the glasses felt very sturdy and the adjustable nose pads were a big plus. I’m glad that VWE made this large frame glasses available to the public!

good for a big skull
these are the widest pair of reading glasses that i could find, no pressure on the temples, the lenses could be bigger. the arms aren't as robust as i had hoped. overall very good glasses.

If you rock a watermelon head like myself, this is what you need =)
I go through reading glasses like most people run through paper towels. Problem is, my head is nothing short of fantastically huge which puts a lot of strain on eyeglass frames / hinges. These bad boys are a bit on the heavy side, but they're legit good stuff. Wide enough so they're extremely comfy for my oversized melon, and nothing is under stress because they fit right. Glass quality is good with minimal distortion. I've ordered another pair as backup in case i lose / damage my original pair. Very happy with my purchase.

152mm wide!!! Spring hinges. Hard to beat!
I have three pair of these. One at each workstation and one that travels in my bag. I keep them in the case when not in use or at least sitting safely on my desk. These are the best fitting, best feeling reading glasses I expect to find for my oversized head. I have cheaper, smaller ones that I try to carry in a shirt pocket because I constantly find myself needing to reading copies of copies in poor light. I am always delighted to find these waiting for me when I get back to civilization. I am seriously considering buying a fourth pair and just keeping them with me until they get lost or break. These cost a little more money than I want to expose to likely loss or breakage, but they are so much more enjoyable to wear than the in-bulk offerings that I am seriously tempted.

UPDATED TO ONE STAR. PROBLEM AND SELLER NOT RESPONDING
UPDATE 9/29/2022 I recently bought a new pair of these after I had such good luck with my old ones I reviewed below. I eventually broke them and ordered a new pair. The temple piece is just about to fall off the new pair I received. I contacted the seller but never got a response. So I went through the Amazon system to report the defective item and automatically get a replacement. The replacement was supposed to be delivered today but the seller hasn't even shipped it yet. I may have to look for an alternative now if I don't get some sort of resolution soon. Disappointed, because as you can see from my original review I really liked them. I was willing to chuck it up to just a random defect, but if they aren't going to response or ship the replacement then this is what we are left with. I'll update if and when they do something. UPDATE April 2021: Having these for a while I still like them. I like them more than my very expensive Rx glasses. In fact, I rarely wear those any longer. I've dropped these, had them skid across a hard floor, dropped on concrete (once a lens popped out and I popped it right back in), and to this date, I only have very minor scratches. These have been way more durable than the expensive Rx glasses in the past. I think I'm going to order another pair and keep these for just working on projects in the garage since I finally managed to scratch them a bit. But what would you rather do, replace a $400 pair of Rx glasses when they get scratched, or replace a pair of $25 glasses. I stand by more original review below. Still a great value I believe. I've had a number of prescription glasses. I can't see anything clearly in the first 3 feet from me, so I had progressives for computer work - keyboard to screen clarity. I always had a very limited selection because I need a larger frame being 6'2". Also for some reason ALL of my $400 RX glasses scratch like crazy (even with the additional purchased scratch protection that's only good for a year before you have to buy another pair). Additionally, on my latest RX pair they insisted for computer work I HAD to get the blue blocker on them. I didn't want that because I edit video and photos on calibrated monitors and the blue blockers alter the colors. But of course they put in on anyway and not I can't use them when doing that work, so I started looking from some "cheaters" like these. All of the ones I could find in the local stores were too small, but I did find a magnification power that way that worked for me. Then I came and found these on Amazon. I really like them. If I could wish for anything it would be for an anti-glare coating as I sometimes get light reflections off my face on the back side of the lens. It's a minor thing. But more importantly, these things are way harder to scratch than my expensive RX ones. I've not been kind to these and I still don't have any scratches. Go figure. Also important is if you are a larger man with a bigger head, you know the trouble finding a pair not too small for your face and these fit nicely. Don't look like you're wearing children's glasses with these. I'll definitely buy another pair of these should I ever need another. Especially if they start offering it with anti-glare coatings.

Finally! A pair of readers that fits my big head.
These are a little more than I usually spend for readers but I really like them. The frame is very nice looking and very sturdy. The arms are plastic but look adequate. Comes in an attractive case. So nice to have glasses that don’t pinch my head.
