Best fun that I have had with my son. We couldn't wait for the sun to go down, so we could play with this light up hoop. It's easy to put up, as you just zip tie it to your hoop, but batteries in the control box, and you get a light display of any color scheme you can imagine. This does have a remote control where you can change the color scheme or you can put it on a loop which will go through a range of different colors. My son and I can't get enough of it. It's so fun to play in the dark along with his light up basketball. Basketball lovers, listen up—you’ll have the coolest house on the block when you add these! The neighbors will eant to shoot hoops at ypur house. Super durable—I’ve seen them take some bad shots and they hold up perfectly. Bright, eye-catching, and really easy to install. If you live somewhere with snow, I’d take them down in winter. I loved them so much I even bought extras as gifts for friends!

These lights work as expected. I actually attached them to the outside of the backboard using command strip clips, and they worked until the battery box finally got full of water and it shorted out. I think for the price, they were just fine. I didn't expect much, so not super let down that they don't work anymore. Got a good 9 months out of them, and maybe it would be longer if I can find a way to keep the box out of the elements better.

My kids love to play basketball but would get sad when it got dark. This was the perfect solution. It is very easy to install. The provide zip ties and I was able to do it by myself. The battery back is waterproof and I was able to use the provided tape to stick it to the back of the back board. You can barely tell the lights are on the rim during the day but it’s very bright at night! The kids love to use the remote to change the colors of the lights. The lights are in a clear tube so they are protected from the elements. The color is bright enough for them to play with little outdoor lighting. So much easier than having to install another light. We would definitely purchase again!

Neat effects but not durable.

Every year we give our neighbors a Christmas gift, and this past Christmas we went with a family games theme. For their high school/college aged grandsons, who spend several days with them over the holidays, we gave them one a set of these hoop lights, as well as a light up basketball, a sports ball pump, and a variety of snacks in a gift basket for them. I didn't hear any complaints, which my neighbors would have mentioned had they encountered any problems, so that means the boys enjoyed their gifts.

Failures all around. Unit won’t stay off; it turns back on after 30 seconds. Tape isn’t very sticky, and looks terrible even after peeling both sides of the tape to clear. I tried front and back of backboard to see if either would even stay up and look good but it’s just not a good product. Came in a box that said cornhole board lights with those instructions. Rope light doesn’t straighten, especially around corners, so it just looks awful all around. I trashed the whole thing after wasting the afternoon.

Great idea for any age group . Girl , boy , and grown ups too . Cool concept

Bought this as a birthday present for my grandson and he is really pleased with it. Apparently it was very easy to set up.
