Does this work with Isofit?

I’m not completely sure what an ISOFIT is but this booster seat works with the latch system installed on most newer cars (see your owners manual). This is a latch in the seat crease between the seat back and seat bottom. The booster clips on to the latch on each side to keep the seat secure and not sliding about while your child gets in and out of the seat and it won’t become a projectile in an accident. You use the 3 point seatbelt to strap your child in. The latches easily release pulling the release lever on the front. I hope this helps.

Are the latches necessary to use for safety reasons or can the seat be used without attaching the latch hooks?

The GoFit® Plus is equipped with the quick release Latch system. Use of LATCH with this Booster Seat is optional but may be used with a child from 40-110 lbs.

Can you use this without the armrests? My son has a wide bum.
