My favorite treat with coffee or tea but many broken biscuits
These are my favorite not overly sweet and are very crisp. The oatcakes are my favorite flavor with the cocoa a close second. I have tried other flavors but buy those two flavors most often. They are $1.00 a box cheaper by buying 12 at one time on Amazon than at my grocery store. I should add if you want to serve for a social function don’t buy them online until they figure out how to package them. Close to have of them are broken. Still taste delicious but don’t look very pretty Whole Foods and King Soopers (a Publix food store in the west) carry Effie’s

Perfection in a biscuit
Biscuits, for those who aren't aware, is the British term for cookie, and Effie's qualifies as cookies, biscuits, oat cakes, crackers, and just about everything. I crushed them up and made a crust for a cheese cake that was fabulous. I eat them as as a snack, all the time. I am addicted to Effie's oat cakes, there I've admitted it. No, seriously, these are the best I have ever tasted, and they come in so many flavors, like coco, walnut with fennel and cranberry, Almond with Cardamom, Pecan and wildflower honey, Corn, Rye, and plain Oatcakes. I am not fond of Rye, although I know one person who is, and corn, is good with cream cheese and chives, My all time favorites are Walnut with Fennel and Cranberries, Almond with Cardamom and plain oatcakes. Yes, they are pricey, and yes, you must be careful how many you eat in a week, or in my case, a day, but I find nothing satisfies a desire for a snack better than an Effie's Oat Cake. Try them, they are good.

The best biscuit or cookie I ever tasted
These are so dangerous to my diet, but they are the best cookies/biscuits I have ever tried. The only issue is that some of the boxes end up slightly crushed which makes several of the cookies at the end of the box broken. I feel this happens during shipment because I first found this product in my local supermarket and there were no broken cookies. I will keep ordering these cookies anyway as they are the best.

Heavenly!
Been buying these oatcakes for years at my grocery. Not cheap, but the quality makes it worth it imo. Tried some other flavors and Oatcake is by far my favorite. Imagining the others are more suited as a base for cheeses or spreads, but the Oatcake is scrumptious all by itself. I recently tried Almond, and was very disappointed...it had an herbal aftertaste (sage?) that obliterated the almond flavor. It was so bad, I ate two and threw them out. (Not being negative for negativity's sake, just hoping Effie will see this and change the recipe, lol). Anyway, as I said...the Oatcakes are DELICIOUS. Buy them!
