From their website, "We use a combination of natural essential oils and safe synthetic ingredients in our fragrance compositions."

i been trying to purchase this, why won't it ship to cali??

California has Proposition 65. It requires all items shipped to California to have VERY specific labels. If a product does nit have “their” specific labels on them, the product is not allowed to enter California. I do not believe the Ms Meyers company has separate labels just for California.

While this product is not formulated to contain gluten, our manufacturing plants are not registered gluten-free facilities.

Is Meyers hand soap antibacterial?

No, non of the Mrs Meyers products are antibacterial. However, the FDA has stated that regular soap and water are all that's necessary for regular hand washing, and "antibacterial" soaps are unnecessary. “Consumers may think antibacterial washes are more effective at preventing the spread of germs, but we have no scientific evidence that they are any better than plain soap and water,” said Janet Woodcock, M.D., director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). “In fact, some data suggests that antibacterial ingredients may do more harm than good over the long-term.” So, up to you if that's important or not.
