Spigen for Apple Watch 45/44mm 41/40mm Band Case

It is more comfortable than the original band because it is wider. The watch is now better secured to my wrist. This band is also a case, wrapping around the watch and providing better protection. It's easier to put on and take off. So far, no complaints.

This is a great band that acts like a protective case for your watch.

The case was easy to install on my Apple Watch 9. My watch feels protected and fits perfectly in the case. I enjoy the appearance of the case and feel it’s stylish and durable. I got it in color black and really like the look of it. Throughout the day of wearing the watch from the gym to work, the watch/case is computable and breathable. I have no issues removing the watch to be able to clean my watch and case. I would certainly recommend this to others.

Pros-good band. Protects the edges of watch face. Comfortable to wear. The watch loads from the back, so it won’t come out of the band. Con- if you pull up too hard on the band to set it, when you’re putting it on, it cracks, right at the buckle point , after about 3 weeks.

Great quality! Got hit by a car while on my bike and it survived with almost no damage to the case itself and none to my actual watch!

Best strap I’ve used, this is my second one. First one lasted about 2 years till it broke.

My son bought me a series 3 for my birthday and I barely wore it because it was uncomfortable and I absolutely hate that it's easily noticeable. That's right, I can't stand the thin dinky bands that attach near the bottom of the watch's frame and make it pop out more than it already does. But, I decided I was taking this watch - come hell or high-water - on my deployment, and bought this watch band because the environment can be brutal on niceties watches. I really didn't consider anything else with this band other than it was an all-in-one "case and band". I hate that the watch's back isn't flat, the sensor housing is dome shaped. So before I got this band I either didn't wear the watch (sorry son ... ), or I wore the watch too loose to use any of the non-watch essentials or I wore it tight enough to work but it indented my wrist causing discomfort. Either way, I never wore the watch for any length of time. This watch band/case fills in the area around the sensor/charging dome and increases the wearable surface area making it significantly more comfortable to wear; I can now wear the watch 24/7 taking it off every couple days to charge. I love that this band has the *cheapest imaginable* appearance! Man, do I love that the watch just doesn't stick out like a funny rounded-edge square sitting on top of my wrist. I mean I guess some people like swinging their crap around like "hey look at me", but you know what? When you're traveling, bringing attention to yourself is the last thing you want to do because then you look like a great target. Heck, that pretty much goes for anywhere you go come to think of it. If I ever get mugged, I really don't think anyone will think twice about the watch I'm wearing. Well, that goes without saying, if there ever was a mugger nearby I'd get looked at like, hard-pass bruh - next! And this watch band goes with that look just fine. // This is the only reason for 3-star style // The watch is installed from the bottom of the band's watch housing - makes sense right? So the watch doesn't keep popping out. I'm on the fence however, with the band's stiff rubbery material - It's a bit stiffer than I'm used to but this is quite insignificant. The *only* negative thing I have to say about the watch case (and maybe it's specific to the series 3) is that the crown sits flush with the outer edge and is nearly inaccessible. Meaning, there's no easy way to turn the dial; I have to use a fingernail to catch the dial's textured edge. Not a big deal really because I only ever used the rotating crown to turn volume up/down, but still.

12/9/2020 Update - Taking away two stars. The watch case broke. The thin piece of plastic at the crown has snapped in the middle. It is only being held on by the piece of silicone behind it now. Product engineer should have anticipated this weak point and should have provided extra bolstering or support in this area. Poor design at weak point demarks what is otherwise an excellent case. Original Post: So far, I’m happy with the watch band. It is rugged and does an adequate job of protecting the watch. I’m used to wearing my Casio G-Shock Mudman watch for years so I appreciate the look and feel of ruggedness. As far as screen protection, I tried the LKProtector and results were not good. The watch band would rub on the screen protection film and it would eventually become undone. I switched the screen protection to the SNSIR Glass and achieved better results. The watch band envelopes the edges of the SNSIR glass and keeps it more securely on the watch. This fit also has a positive effect on the water resistance of the screen protector to keep the water from seeping underneath the glass. All these products I got from Amazon. Time will tell with Chinese made products, but for the time being, things are working as intended. Just wanted to share my experience because I found that getting the right screen protector with this watch band was not as straight forward as one would think.

This was my first time getting an Apple Watch, and as with everything I own, I try and find the best product to protect and maintain that like new appearance. I bought this case/strap because of the very reasonable price point and the fact that it reminded me of a G-Shock which I have owned in the past (and loved!). I’ve had it on my watch for about 6 months now and it’s been incredible! I work as an industrial millwright and I wear it most of the time during work (except when the job gets really filthy). The raised edge around the screen helps with avoiding scratches. The material is very durable and easy to clean with soap and water. It’s also very comfortable and doesn’t dig into my wrist or pull my hair at all. Overall I would 10/10 recommend this case to anyone looking for the best protection for their Apple Watch!

Lightweight and rugged. Top class strap and would definitely recommend.
