I made over 300 crimps. The thumb screw was wearing out my fingers and thumb so I had to use pliers. Purchase or create (I made my own.) a stabilizer base to help with the crimping process. This will reduce fatigue during use. I noticed that the closed position on the thumb screw slowly moved over time. Also, the cutter is not meant to cut stainless or galvanized cable. The cutter failed after about a dozen cuts.
